Captain Marvel Stunt Woman Shows Off Impressive Fight Sequence

Even though we are currently stuck in between superhero movies in the COVID-mandated doldrums, that doesn’t mean that we can’t have a little bit of superhero=inspired fun to pass the time.

Stunt woman Joanna Bennett, who doubled for Brie Larson in last year’s Captain Marvel, dug up a gem of a fight sequence she choreographed as a proof of concept of how super-powered Carol would utilize her powers in a hand-to-hand brawl with multiple opponents.

The mini-movie was shot and directed by Walter Garcia, another stunt person alum from Captain Marvel, and even though you can see the wires the fight is visceral and above all fun! They actually went in a different direction for Carol in the movie, but Captain Marvel 2 is on the way directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman) and written by Megan McDonnell (WandaVision). — and Carol will have full control of her powers from the beginning this time.

Bennett has also doubled for Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Nebula and Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot.
