Daisy Ridley’s Rey is front and center of the newly released official poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, perhaps giving us yet another clue that she is the main character of the new film. The poster is littered with new characters; including John Boyega’s Finn, Gwendoline Christie’s villainous Captain Phasma, Oscar Isaac’s X-Wing Fighter pilot Poe Dameron and the menacing Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver. Oh, and BB8, a droid who is already competing with R2-D2 as the most adorable robot ever created.
The poster also features returning characters, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewacca, C-3P0 and R2-D2 — as well as the best spaceship ever put on film, the Millennium Falcon. Notable for his absence is Mark Hamill’s Jedi master Luke Skywalker.
The first full length trailer will be released tomorrow during Monday Night Football, and tomorrow also marks the first day that you can buy tickets for the film.
