Last Friday, writer Brian Michael Bendis posted this on his Tumblr blog with the caption:

the main cover to Invincible Iron Man 9 introducing …?
So we are introducing a new female character wearing armor. Who are the women in Tony’s life at the moment? Well, of course there is always Pepper Potts, but she already has an armored identity, wearing the suit Tony gave her as the heroine “Rescue.”
The more intriguing possibility is Mary Jane Watson, the former love interest for Spider-Man, who moved to Chicago where she opened a nightclub where she has become a supporting character in the Invincible Iron Man.
This theory was all but confirmed when Marvel released a different cover for the issue on their website this morning.
Invincible Iron Man #9 will hit shelves on April 20th, 2016.
