The Supergirl/Flash Crossover Gets a Poster, a Plot and an Easter Egg

CBS has released a  poster and plot details for the much anticipated Supergirl/Flash crossover episode. The plot synopsis reads:

“Worlds Finest” – Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, March 28 (8:00-9:00 PM) on the CBS Television Network.

This confirms what we all pretty much suspected. Supergirl and the Flash live in different dimensions. It’s a great solution that explains why Supergirl never pops in to help the Flash, but still leaves the door open for occasional meetings between the two.

The  poster for the episode doesn’t give us much new information, but is a fun Easter Egg for comic book collectors with long memories. It recreates the classic cover of Superman #199 from 1967 drawn by industry legend Carmine Infantino,.

“Worlds Finest” airs on Monday, March 28 on CBS.

Details of Wonder Woman’s Costume Revealed in Leaked Production Stills

Cosplayers around the world are rejoicing, as leaked production stills are giving them an up close look at Wonder Woman’s costume from the upcoming movie Batman vs. Superman.

YouTube user Green released the watermarked video, which shows a series of still photos highlighting every inch of the Wonder Woman movie costume — from her weathered tiara to her armor-plated boots. Virtually every aspect of the costume that a cosplayer would need to reconstruct the suit is studied in meticulous detail. It’s the kind of information that rarely ever gets leaked — and definitely not before the movie even opens.

Daredevil Season 2 Trailer Part 2 Puts Elektra Front and Center

We already had one trailer out for Daredevil, a trailer that focused on the Punisher. Now Netflix has release “Part 2” of their Daredevil season 2 trailer — a trailer that focuses squarely on femme fatale Elektra.

Elektra’s relationship with Daredevil is often contradictory. Sometimes they are lovers, sometimes antagonists. She’s a deadly assassin, and he is a man who has sworn to protect all life. Frank Miller mined this rich and complex relationship for years in his legendary run on the comic book version of Daredevil.

In the trailer, Elektra is asking for Matt’s help and offering him information and help in return – but don’t be surprised if she has another hidden agenda that will eventually bring her into direct conflict with her on-again, off-again lover.

From the video description:

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.

Daredevil season 2 hits Netflix on March 18th.
