Marvel just released the six-episode animated series Marvel Rising: Initiation to YouTube, and you can watch them all right here.
The six webisodes follow Ghost-Spider (Dove Cameron) who is on the run from the police for a murder she didn’t commit. The authorities have just upped the ante by sending in S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Quake (Chloe Bennet) and Patriot (Kamil McFadden). They are joined in the hunt by freelance heroes Ms. Marvel (Kathleen Khavari) and Squirrel Girl (Milana Vayntrub).
Cameron’s Ghost-Spider is obviously set to be the connective tissue that held the show together, but our hearts were stolen by the delightful duo of Squirrel Girl and Ms. Marvel. Try not to love them. It’s impossible.
The shorts are a prequel to the upcoming movie Marvel Rising movie that is set to premiere on Disney XD in the near future.
