Netflix released a new poster for the highly anticipated Marvel’s Jessica Jones today.
On the poster, David Tennant’s mind controller Killgrave is whispering into Jessica’s ear., while Jessica, played by Krysten Ritter, looks straight ahead with a dead stare. The entire world around her seems vague and insubstantial, and it is tinted purple — a likely homage to Killgrave’s comic book persona, “The Purple Man.”
It’s atmospheric and creepy. And, as in the previous poster, if you look behind Jessica, you can see Avengers Tower in the distance. Tying the Netflix shows to the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe in a real and tangible way.
The first season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones will premiere exclusively on Netflix on November 20, 2015.
